Fern Cottage is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom. As a 1936 historically landmarked vacation home, it is newly re-designed and upgraded. The Fern Cottage is located on top of the Coastal Ridge in the Grandview Heights Historic District within the Arts & Entertainment District of downtown West Palm Beach. The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Norton Museum of Art, Palm Beach County Convention Center and the Rosemary Square restaurants and shops are all within 10 minutes walking distance.

Fern Cottage sleeps up to 7 guests, featuring 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen and 2 twins), 2 bathrooms, an additional den with a sofa bed, living room, dining room, enclosed front porch with office, kitchen with a separate breakfast dining room overlooking a large terrace with outside dining, lounge chairs and a private pool. This house includes complimentary use of 4 bicycle with locks, which can be used to get to the nearby beaches or access the world famous Lake Trail bike path on Palm Beach Island and along Lake Worth.

Fern Cottage perfect for couples or families with children (high chair and pack & play available upon request). The large lagoon-shaped pool features a deck with lounge chairs and is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. Amenities also include a BBQ grill with outdoor seating as well as optional pool heat. This was an ideal holiday home. We spent 8 nights here and it had everything we needed. We were a family of four with two teenagers and the multiple lounge areas gave privacy and space to all. The pool area is brilliant, the decent sized pool and surround has sun and shade available throughout the day depending on your preference. There is a good range of restaurants and a craft brewer within very short walking distance and an Uber to the Square was under $7 - it could easily be walked if the heat index hadn't been so high (we had to come in August due to UK school holidays). WPB rentals were excellent with their communications prior to and throughout the stay. They were bang on time for check in and were helpful whilst not overbearing. The owner is nearby and was very friendly but again after a genuine offer to help with anything we needed we also did not at all feel like we were borrowing the house from them. If we were going to be back in the area we wouldn't even consider looking around for any other accommodation.

Fern Cottage is a great base for exploring WPB. It is in a very central and walkable location and yet also very peaceful and private. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after spending our days exploring the area. Lots of shops and reataurants within 20 minutes walk. Highly recommended!

Perfect size for 2-5 people. Historic and artsy neighborhood walking distance to plenty to do. Space was clean, nicely decorated, and furnished. Would stay again.

This property was spacious and well maintained. Kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. and well organized. The online photos represented the house accurately. Location was perfect, within walking distance of Arts District and downtown West Palm Beach. The Property Manager was there to meet us and facilitate our check-in.

Excellent location. Very quiet neighborhood, right near the freeway and downtown. Only negatives were, the pool was never cleaned during our 8 day stay and there are security cameras contrary to the listing.

We found the Fern Cottage to be the perfect location for the week of our family wedding. Just an amazing interior that slept everyone comfortably. A great walk from the house to downtown WPB, the Norton Museum, and Palm Beach Island. We enjoyed many hours around the beautiful backyard pool with family as well as a refreshing swim after a workout. We cannot wait to return. Bill and his wife were the perfect hosts.

This was an adorable little cottage in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It was very clean, and the backyard and pool was lovely and very private. The king bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped and perfect for making meals. Wi-Fi and internet were strong and there was lots of TV and streaming options! The house comes with a gas grill but there is an additional charge to use it. I prefer a gas grill, but not a deal breaker. We used the bikes every day and it's about a mile and a half to the nearest beach, but well worth the trip! Also, Bender's is a fabulous farm market very nearby. We shop there often. A great stay overall!

What a fabulous property. This is a stunning house with plenty of space and incredibly well equipped. We have just completed an event at the convention centre and the location was just perfect. Rick at Palm Beach Rentals was incredibly helpful and looked after us and we also met the owner whom again was very helpful and kind. Thank you! Definitely highly recommend.

I stayed at Fern Cottage for 7 weeks while interning at the Norton Museum of Art. The location of the house was ideal, close to the water, the museum, food options, and social opportunities. The house itself was lovely, I spent a lot of time at the pool out back, and hanging out with my two roommates in the living room. It was spacious, and I felt that we were all able to get the privacy we wanted, and come together to hang out, when we wanted.
Bill and Jacqui were the best hosts ever. They were so kind, quick to respond if issues came up, and generous. It was so nice to come into a new house already stocked with snacks and coffee. I also enjoyed getting to chat with Bill and Jacqui every couple of days outside our house. They were around regularly and checked in with us to make sure we were doing alright. Bill had connections with everyone in West Palm Beach, and was willing to help out with my bike, e.g. lending an air pump or connecting me with people who might ship out a bike.
I had a great experience at Fern Cottage, would give it an 11 out of 10, recommend it to anyone, and I hope to be back at some point. I loved West Palm Beach, and having such wonderful hosts and house definitely helped make the area feel like home.
